I want to have Nazgul run a story on here. We use to have one on here and I want another now. I will put the story starter up in a few. but for those who want to know more, look at the post from Claw and Me on the Nazgul squadron topic on the main Navy board. -----------------------

This is the response I posted to a message from Claw on the Main Navy Board. It is also the beginning for our squadron story. Take it and run with the idea of getting our squadron active again.

Rogue returned to the office that was assigned to him aboard the Nemesis. It was located off of the Squadron Ready Room assigned to Nazgul. The ready room was placed close to the bays that held their assigned fighters.
Rogue dropped into his chair and thought about the chewing he just got from Claw. Nazgul had been a heavily active squadron under its last CO, Gravin. Rogue had been just a flight member then, then a flight leader, and then finally had replaced Gravin as the squads commander. And soon after that, the squadron started falling apart.
The flight leaders were trying to hold things together and cover for his lack of ideas on what to do with the squadron, but it was now obvious that Claw and others had noticed what was going on.
Well something had to be done. Rogue went out to the squadron's ready room and looked for Gravin and Arturus. Not seeing them, he sent Doggy to find both of them and have them report to his office asap.
((I know it sounds like a story plot, I did it that way intentionally despite this not being the story board. I have sometime off this week so I will try to get something happening with Nazgul, Claw))::

Arturus walks barges into Rogue's office without knocking wearing civilian clothes and a hip blaster belt.
"Ok what the hell is this about. I have pagings all over the place, I have a pilot racing around trying to find me. Cant a guy get a little peace around here so he can practice with his blaster?...Ok sorry commander, I am just very frustrated in this squad right now. how may i be of service sir?"

Rogue looks up when Art stormed into his office and said something extra fast.
"Well, Art, here is whats happening. I am in trouble with my superiors for letting Nazgul slip into such a state of laziness. So since any ideas I have or would have depend on you and Gravin as flight leaders, i sent Doggy to get you and Grav."
"Where is Gravin, he should be here by now also. this ship aint that big? Well anyway, We need to get the few pilots we have back into the saddle of being navy pilots, and not doing just anything to mark time, like now."
"First thing is that sim competition Gravin was planning for inside our squadron. He needs to get it going. As for you, Art, I need you to help me come up with Ideas for something we can do. Because my mind is out of wack on this, and I need something to save my ass from Claw and the others." -----------------------

"I got one idea of something you can do Art, we are still flying regular T/F's while almost all the other squadrons are flying newer, better ships. Only Kaph and Us have T/F's still. What do you think of persuing the issue of getting us some newer ships?"
"Maybe if we get active enough, we can get the upper command to get them for us? It would be expensive and time consuming to get the credits to buy new ships ourselves from Imperial Center."

On that note, Arturus left Rogue's office and walked to his quarters. He flopped down on his bed for a while thinking about nazgul and his frustrations. Finally he decided to go back to the shooting range for a bit to get out his anger.
As he walked down to the range he got a brilliant idea on how to get new fighters. We need to prove that we deserve them eh, he thought to himself as he continued walking. Then he thought, we need to impress the High Command that we are worthy of the fighters, so why not challenge the HC to a duel.
Arturus raced back to Rogue's office to bring him his new idea. |

Rogue sat in his office scanning through computer files trying to think of something else to do to get the squadron restarted. He had talked to Art and run some possible ideas by him, but that wasnt enough. He needed to find something big and excting.
"If we had hyperdrive equipped fighters, we could go out for a nice little patrol toward the Rebel controlled areas, or hunting for pirates." Rogue thought to himself. "But we cant do either due to us not having Hyperdrive equipped fighters. I have the Deathseed fighter I bought that is hyper capable but none of the rest of the squadron has anything that is hyper equipped."
Rogue turned his chair to face the viewport that his office had and stared out at the Racks of Tie's hanging in one of the Nemesis' launch bays. He was looking out at the fighters that his squadron flew. That was the nice thing about this office, it had an overlook of the squadron's launch bay. It made office work bearable sometimes. Maybe if he stared at the fighters and other craft long enough, he would think of something really creative and distinct for Nazgul to do.

While sitting there staring off at nothing and digging through the computer files, Rogue came up with an idea for a custom fighter. He found a design in the computer from something called Space: Above and Beyond. The ship was a SA-43 Hammerhead Endo/Exo fighter. That meant it could fighter well in either space or atmosphere.
"now this would be a really cool fighter to own." Rogue thought. Activating the comm system on his computer, he sent a message to Fury, the owner of the Imperial Center Store, requesting if the store could build him one of these fighters.
Rogue then sat back and waited on a reponse from the Imperial Center Store. -----------------------

Gravin enters where Rogue is sitting. "Hey Rogue, Im back for good. Lets go out on a mission or two of our own. Time for Nazgul to show people what we are really like. Some of the best pilots fly with us today."
Gravin sit's down and drinks his 'so called coffee.' -----------------------

Rogue watches and listens as Gravin walks in and says his piece.
"Well, its about time, you got back. And you practicalyl read my mind. We need a mission to go fly. Got any ideas where we can go and how we can get there?"
"So finish your coffee and get over to Intelligence and figure out somewhere we can go to look for a fight. If you think of anything else, tell me. Get moving." -----------------------

Gravin walks into the Intelligence Quarters looking over some documents. "what to do, what to do" he says to himself. "I know" gravin says as he goes to the computer
beep beep
Gravin is logged on to the ISD Nemesis Main Terminal.
Searching.........................
It comes up empty. Nothing shows up on the Search from the computer.
Gravin thinks, "They must be hiding these files somewhere." Gravin gets up and walks back to the door and gets ready to leave. A Guard enters and looks at Gravin. Gravin continue's to walk. He enters Nazgul barracks to search his Quarters. -----------------------

Not known to others, Arturus was silently following Gravin and saw him try to access intel files on the ISD II Nemesis. After Gravin walked back to his quarters, Arturus quietly walked back to the intel room with is de-coder and a stun baton. There was only the one guard in the room and Arturus quickly stunned him and threw his body in the closet.
Then Arturus took his de-coder and began hacking into the intel files of the ISD. "This is interresting." thought Arturus as he stumbled across a large quantity of top secret A files located in the memory banks. Quickly, Arturus cracked the code and downloaded the files into his mini datapad.
He then disconnected and wiped ten mintues of memory from the computer before quietly exiting and moving back to his quarters to read the data. |

Gravin walks back to the Nemesis Main Intel Computer. Gravin sits down and logs on. "Now i got it" looks around and see's the guard walking towards him.
"STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING" the guard yells and gravin stands up. He thinks what should he do and stands there at attention. -----------------------

As Arturus was running through the data, he realized he forgot to download the security codes to the off-limit areas of the ISD and the hangers he did not have access to. In order for nazgul to plot a mission he needed those codes. Arturus quickly moved back to the intel room.
He listened for a quick second and realized that there were two people inside. Arturus took out his blaster, set it to stun and opened the door. He fired at the first person he saw who happened to be the guard. He then found himself staring right into Gravin's eyes.
"Hide him and lock the door. Then come and guard my back. I forgot to get the clearence codes."
"WHAT!" exclaimed Gravin as he did as he was told.
"Watch man. I already cracked the security computers, all I forgot to get were the codes. In about 3 seconds I will have them and we can get the hell out of here before any more peopel stumble in."
Arturus quickly hacked in and downloaded the codes before heading for the door. |
