After waiting about five minutes Rocket looked around the cantina and sighed and said, “Well it looks like no one is gonna come I guess we need to figure out a way to do this than. I want everyone to try to put as much of that cargo into their ships as they can.”
“What ship will you be going in Boss.”
“I think I will go aboard the Stroke of Luck, speaking of that how much more cargo can we fit if we put it into the passengers quarters.”
“I can fit another hundred tons if we convert the rooms to hold the cargo which would take four hours, besides leaving the room you are gonna be staying in Boss.” Marcus Tarus Captain of the Stroke of Luck says.
“I can fit another hundred and forty pounds but it will take five hours to do it.” Duo Lightant Captain of the Falcon Luck says.
“Alright even with losing six hours we can still make the dead line how much does that leave left?”
“Forty tons left Mr. Firekeeper.” A young woman says after turning around to look at the table from the bar.
“I see thank you Roll, did you have any problems with getting the licensing.”
“No I didn’t however we have another shipment after this one is complete, and I will give you the details to you when you get back. Now if you excuse me I have to go back to the office and finish some paper work before you head off.”
After watching her exit the cantina Rocket gets up and says, “Well you know what you have to do so get to it you have six hours before we leave. If you run into any problems contact me and I will take care of them.”
Rocket exits the cantina and waves a taxi to take him back to his house,
well at least that went better than I thought it would of course we still got forty tons to get on to some ship so that we will make the dead line.Rocket felt the taxi stop and paid the driver and went into his house and went into his room and turned on his computer and started going over spec information, on the four Liberty-Class Assault Gunships that would be accompanying them on the journey to Marzoon in case something should go amiss.
Beep…Beep…Beep
Rocket looks around and saw that his phone was ringing and picked it up and heard, “Mr. Firekeeper we have a problem with trying to get clearance from the dock, and I am not sure how I should take care of that.”
“I am on my way right now.”
“I have already taken the liberty of getting a taxi ready and it is waiting outside for you right now.”
“Right,” Rocket hung the phone up and went into the taxi and arrived at the office that his shipping company was using. He did not make it to the front door when he noticed that Roll was standing outside.
“What are you doing outside Ms. Inkslinger its twenty degrees out here and you are not wearing a coat. You could have waited inside for me.”
“You are too kind Mr. Firekeeper, but that still does not change the fact that we don’t have clearance to launch at this point in time which as you know can lead into becoming a problem if it is not taken care of.”
“Yes I know lets go inside and you can tell me what the situation at this time.”
After they went into the building Rocket headed to his office and sat down in his chair and grabbed the flask that was in his desk drawer and took a swig.
“Right well at this time they are saying that they need to do a full inspection on all of the ships to make sure that we are not trying to transport anything illegal.”
“I see and how long will that take?”
“It will take at least a week which I am sure that you know that we will lose the contract that we have been given if we wait that long to deliver that shipment.”
“Yes I see the problem and have you told them who owns those ships?”
“I have and they didn’t believe me I think that you might have to go down there and have a talk with them.”
“Yes I suppose that I will go do that right now.”
This is just great just the thing that I didn’t need to happen right now, well hopefully I can get this taken care of before they are loaded up and ready to go.
