Captain Byar watched the last of his tanks destroyed and grimaced. It had looked like going well until they got behind him. Maybe there really were stormtroopers here after all, quite how they had got here, and why they were helping the rebellious slaves was a question for another day. He turned to his lieutenant, a stocky man wearing desert fatigues, currently taking a swig from a canteen and grimacing. The sun had doubtless made the water warm, or maybe he'd smuggled some liquor out on mission. Byar would find out later, and discipline the man if necessary. Time now to report this loss to the General and recover what he could from the situation. Next time, they would have to use a force more suited against a trained foe. These men had been rookies, fresh assignment from home. Next time it would be a more seasoned group of men. Next time. "Give the orders," Byar said, "We're pulling back to base."
The alien creature, Zrbik by name, was trying to explain to Stonefish what they were doing hiding in caves under a plateau. His broken form of Basic did not help much, though the gist was coming across. From the comm chatter from outside the cave, Stonefish understood that the rebel forces had pulled back after their tank unit had been destroyed. Now it would be time to return with new intelligence and formulate a new plan. For Stonefish it was time to decide what to do next. The rebels knew they were here now, and that was a bad thing. Their plan on landing had been to stay hidden until intelligence from the outpost had been gathered and formulate a plan then. Now he had no such luxury. With Jester squad, less Merrick, missing and presumed dead and their fort blasted into very small pieces, they were low on supplies. As far as the alien creatures were concerned, it seemed the group that Storm platoon had met were rebels themselves. The people of this planet, and maybe the whole enemy movement, kept them as slaves for dangerous or menial tasks. On this planet, it was mining. Many valuable ores were buried in the crust, and Zrbik's people had been shipped in to dig them out. He had no idea if they were refined on planet, or merely shipped out as raw ore, only that the humans wanted it out of the ground and taken to a place four hundred kilometers due west. About a week ago, Zrbik and his small group of renegades had slain their supervisors and fled to this cave network, an abandoned mine, and hid themselves in the tunnels they dug. This is what the rebel troops were after, not the VE troops. They had not really known about the landing, it was chance, mere chance that lead them here, and now Stonefish's plan lay in ruins, his unit and his base in tatters and his men (and woman) expected him to pull something out of this. Stonefish called the men into the cave network, and called Argon over. Stormie had gone missing during the fighting, and there had been no sign of Kiption since he left on landing. "Right, here's the plan," he began, "Obviously there are rebels here, and our intelligence was correct. Now, they know we are here, and we are pretty well screwed for anything except a good place to hide. And that's what we're gonna do. We hole up in here, and help our alien friends. They're escaped slaves, and not I only do I hate slavery, but we were going to kill the rebels anyway. Get Kuroishi and Tycho hooking up some kind of sensor network, and work on some booby traps, get Patrick in on this, he's good with explosives. Have Drill root through the remains of the base and see what they can find. I'm going with our host to try and map out this cave network, see what I can find. Contact me if you get any trouble." OOC: Monkeys.

Kiption came running up through the cave. "There you are, I've been looking all over for you."  He came walking into the middle of where Argon's squad was located. "Where the hell have you been?" Argon asked. Kiption walked past him.  "Hey Merrick, got a second?"  He walked past some bodies.  "Nice work and all, but we need you back." "Oh?" "Yea see, we decided that this whole mission sounded like some second rate movie about a bunch of superheros that didn't know their limits, so we just kinda went back to the base.  We would have called after you, but you were already gone and being violent, and well... you know how you get when you're violent." Merrick just stood there dumbfounded and nodded.  "Well, so we went back to play some sabacc, and well... like a moron Dragoon got trashed and is passed out on the floor.  You know most of our scam so could you possible leave this great place here and come back with me.  I'll give you 50%..." Merrick, still standing there... "What's the catch?" "No catch... well, one catch.  You know that skirt you were wearing at the bar the first night"  He waited for a nod. "Well could you wear that again?  Tylen is going through puberty, him being a teenager and all... And well, you wearing that could make him lose focus, and our profits would go up quite a bit." "What about them?" "Oh don't worry about Argon and them.. They'll just pull something out of their ass.  How the hell do you think they got this far? They're known for having some special gadget up their sleve or in some orphus of their body. Coming or staying?" "Frew this, lets go... but I want 60% not 50." Kiption held out his arm as if to escort Merrick.  "If you would allow me..." and the two walked out of the cave through the super secret exit that nobody knew about. ------------------------------------------ I regret to inform you, but through an informal vote consisting of me and several other members, you can have this story.  All of the above is said in jest... hehe, get it JEST!!! [OOC: ::goes through the unneccessary vote procedures needed to find that Kip is an idiot::  ] "Where is Jester Squad going?"asked Myrrdin. "Don't worry about them,"replied Argon,"Fish'll deal with 'em.  And, speaking of Fish..." Argon hurried to catch up to his platoon commander. "Do you even want a report on how things have been going so far?"he asked,"or do you intend to just wing it?" "Huh?"said Fish,"Oh, sure.  Go ahead..." "Well, the DK are down five people,"said Argon,"JKD32, Brakiss, and Scout_7 got shot and killed in a skirmish against a squad of elite Rebels, Tycho got shot and severely wounded in the first battle, but he's halfway back, and PaTrIcK just got shot recently, he's in pretty bad shape.  The only one's we've got left are me, Kuroishi, Myrrdin, and darkhelmet(darkhelmet is in danger of AWOL though...).  Despite all that's happened so far, we are going to need Jester Squad in order to finish this, the DK might be a great squad, but not good enough to cover for our entire platoon." "All right,"said Fish,"I'll talk to Kiption if you'll try to find Stormie.  Cr*p, this started out with the entire platoon." "I'm already on it,"said Argon,"as to the platoon, I'm not sure, all I know is that I'm pretty proud of my squad so far"

OOC:  No offense to your great leadership style and all, I know Argon and Daishi and whoever else... love it.  It's the squad leader's job to keep the squad motivated, not the platoon Commander's job.  This story proves that.  It is instead your job to keep me motivated, and well, this story wasn't doing that either.  I also told you if I felt that the story was going to hell, I would pull out of it.  It did, and I did.  Cheers

OOC: Man, I miss the days when, if someone said they would do something, they would do it.  Well, my opinion is simple, even if this boils down to just the DK, we're in this till the end.  I'll lose my entire squad before I'll give up. As to the story, Stormie said that he'll start posting soon, so we can expect to see Drill Squad at that time.  Until then, I know I'll see the DK, and I hope to see something from Jester to keep our egos down a little bit

Argon watches Fish's shuttle taking off from the planet. Now the squads were on their own. "Okay,"said Argon,"we all know that Kiption wants to pull out, but from what Stormie has said, he's staying.  Anyone got any ideas on how to do this?"

The headaches came and went, but Tycho was recovering quickly, thanks to quick action by his fellow squadmate. His metabolism had been boosted quite a bit by the shock, and he was having trouble cramming in food fast enough--he didn't want to run short on something. To test how physical stress would affect him, Tycho jogged five or six kilometers...the headaches intensified a little, but nothing else. Tycho, however, felt absolutely great, just as he does after every time he runs. He was in his element, enjoying an oxygen high. He stretched out, and the slight ache of fatigue felt incredibly good. He then laid back and relaxed in his bunk, dreaming about a place far away...   ----------------------- Sergeant Major Tycho Celchu

Argon was looking over the map that Fish had left when the Dread Knights and Stormie walked in on him. Things had gone from great to pathetic as Kiption had decided, in a fit of psychosis, to withdraw Jester Squad from the attack, and Drill Squad had been reduced to one member during the attack. And, to top it all off, Fish had retired, leaving the operation just as things had seemed to swing their way. Argon's latest message to Fury had not yet turned up results, but he expected that at least Wraith Squad would try to reply. "So,"said Kuroishi,"what's the plan boss?" "Plan?"said Argon,"we're gonna sit here and try not to get killed until the cavalry shows up.  Man, right when we're doing great too." "Heh, I guess Kip's never liked us,"said Tycho,"all the way back to the Fallen Angels he hated our style." "Well,"said PaTrIcK,"I happen to like it, so let's prove to him that it works.  I say we stop even trying to fight like regulars and show them the real meaning of psycho terrorist." "Now that,"said Argon,"is the best idea I've heard all day." [OOC: your orders.  Go out on your own or in teams and commit random acts of intense havoc.  Stormie, you're on your own or you can come with us, your choice, but the DK are in this till the finish  ]

When it seemed as if the Dark Knights would not be getting any help from the squads, they finally got a transmission. "Hello?........Argon?.........Is anyone there?.........Do you copy"asked a voice over the comlink. There was much static, due to the long range of the transmission, so it was unknown who this was. "This is Argon. Who is this? Over."was the reply. "This is...........RAIDERS Squad.............Heard you could use a...............hand there. How can we help?"asked Rizzit. ".........................."There was no reply. Something had knocked out the transmissions. Things did not look good for Argon and the rest.............

[OOC:  I'm thinking about changing the name Dread Knights to something that people can actually remember, this is getting pretty sad...  ] Communications had been knocked out, but some help had finally arrived. "Dread Knights,"said Argon, calling them back just as they were about to leave,"the Raiders are on their way.  We're gonna go back to regular military tactics." "Meaning?"prompted Tycho, recently recovered from getting shot repeatedly. "Meaning that I want Kuroishi on watch duty on a high place where he can see the surrounding area easily,"said Argon,"and I want PaTrIcK with a heavy weapons post ready to hold off a determined attack long enough for us to help him.  The rest of us are going to build a base, one that can hold out longer than the last one.  Anyone got any ideas?"

Tycho grumbled, "Yeah, I've got an idea. How about I don't make the outhouse this time around, eh?" "No, you'll be making the makeshift infirmary, since it seems that you're one of those who would need it the most. Medical stuff's over there," as Argon jerked his thumb over to a pile of equipment. "Alright everyone. The next meal will be served at 1800 sharp. I'm the head chef. And if you don't like me cooking, you can go find your own restaurant, and a new pair of arms, K? Good, get to work."

{OCC: I'm with you to the end Argon. Oh, and the thing about changing our names how about "Dreaded Knights". That way it looks more like we have a reputation.}         Patrick was sitting on a swoop looking at his trenchcoat with its new hole in it.. Jenny would be mad. He put the trench coat back on. "Argon, I am taking Myrrdin with me. " said Patrick. He turned and went to go get Myrrdin without waiting to see what Argon said.               "Myrrdin on the end of this cave is the sky, the stars, and hope. In here there is only darkness, dreary, and soon to be pain and suffering. I can't stay in a place like this for too long Myrrdin. I have to get out and you are going with me." As Patrick finished saying this Myrrdin just looked dumb founded and followed Patrick on another swoop with a heavy artillery, and a heavy cannon.

Kuroishi sat atop his pearch.  Over the past few days he had been sadened by Stonefish's decision to retire but he couldn't blame Stonefish.  It really was a crapy thing for Jester to do. This operation was for the whole platoon not just the Dread Knights.  At least the Raiders were on thier way.  This meant they had a fighting chance. "Ah hell even if the Raiders arrive at full strength we'll still have to fight unconventionally.  Problem is suplies."  Kuroishi said to himself. The thoughts of his previous military accomplishments filled his mind and Kuroishi realized just how meaningless they were to many of the people he now served with. It was Kuroishi's sense of levity that got him into this mess but he knew that he could get out of it.  After all it was pretty funny to make an entire heavy armor battalion surrender to just ten people.  Heck Geist managed to get the remnants of an infantry regiment to surrender to him alone. These were the campaigns Kuroishi remembered the most and was ready to commence with once more. Though Argon was in charge now and he for one was willing to follow Argon's orders.

[OOC: Thanks Dai and Pat, it's nice to know that my squad enjoys the way I do things, even if the HC doesn't  ] It was late, and Argon was headed out, his pack full of explosives. There was an enemy platoon patroling the area around their base, and if they were allowed to keep patroling unobstructed, they would pose a problem when the Raiders arrived. He set himself up along the path they would take, setting his explosives judiciously and placing some programed holo-generators where they would be the most useful. He then chose a sniper spot and prepared to wreak his havoc. The enemy platoon began to walk into the booby trapped area, but they weren't all there yet. Besides, the Platoon CO wasn't there yet, and that was the only one of them who absolutely had to die. Suddenly, he entered what Argon had nicknamed "the Domain" in his boredom. With the press of a button, a massive explosion ripped up the ground behind the PC, and a holo generator activated. That was what Argon saw, what the enemy saw was a massive demon suddenly burst from the ground in a cloud of fire and a rain of destruction. As the things claw swept downward, Argon lined up his shot and waited for the right moment. When the demon's claw hit the enemy, Argon's sniper rifle "whispered", shredding the man's head. Once again, the enemy would have only seen a massive beast ripping off one of their comrade's heads. With a massive roar, the thing spit holo fire at one of the squads, sending a stream of imaginary flame at them. At that moment, the thirty-five tons of explosives under them went up, destroying them. In the confusion of their retreat, the explosions took five more of them, and Argon took out the PC. When the enemies were gone, Argon collected his stuff and headed home. This job just got more and more fun as the years went on.

Tycho was playing Pheonix Version 1.0111a on his datapad when he heard a huge explosion, then several more after than. He slapped it down on the table, and rushed for his gear...and blatantly realized he had been VERY close to the highest score of all time. Ah well, there wasn't time to think about that right now. There was some business to discuss with some rather intrusive persons, and he would be talking silently yet with noise.

[OOC:  Don't mind me if I seem a bit angry right now, it's things in general that are getting to me, nothing specific.  /OOC] Kuroishi was angry.  With each new rebel group they encountered his fury grew.  They wouldn't be in this mess now if Jester squad had actually followed thier orders instead of blatently disobeying them. Considering his own past that wasn't the real crime.  The real crime was that promised support wasn't there when they needed it.  No one did that to the Fallen Angels or thier offshoot the Dread Knights and get away with it. Right now Kuroishi had something more important to deal with.  He had accepted this mission and thus he was going to complete it.  Settling the score with Jester was going to have to come later. Kuroishi climbed over the rocks to his new observation post and waited for the next patrol routine. So far Kuroishi had counted a light armored company, an infantry company, and three scout patrols.  Kuroishi was guessing there was most likely a regiment of troops here to throw those kinds of troops after just some rebel aliens, either that or the aliens were more of a nuisance then anyone was giving them credit for. Kuroishi chuckled to himself as one of the members of the latest scout patrol sent into the region lagged behind to make use of one of the local caves as a latrine. "Too bad I can't bring you back alive right now sucker or else we'd have so much fun together."  Kuroishi said to himself as he adjusted his sights. A cough from his rifle downed the foolish trooper while the others were not paying attention. "Next the commander."  Kuroishi whispered to himself as he lined up on his next victim. Kuroishi fired a single shot right into the platoon comander's mouth as he streatched and yawned. Switching to ten shot burst mode Kuroishi fired two bursts into the group of troopers, purposefully leaving one alive. Kuroishi hurried down to where his victim was. The superior speed of Kuroishi allowed him to catch his fleeing prey. "Guess what, you're now a prisoner of the Dread Knights."  Kuroishi said with a sadistic smile on his face. "NOOOOO!!!!"  The private yelled in disbelief. A loud crack from Kuroishi's fist connecting to the man's face indicated the prey would be uncounscious for a while. The trip back to camp was long and boring for Kuroishi since he had to drag his victim back. "What the frak?"  Was all Tycho could say as he saw Kuroishi coming back in. "We're turning our friend here into a goblin grenade, then sending him back to base."  Kuroishi said as he started picking up several frag grenades and a roll of space tape. Kuroishi poored out the contents of the trooper's backpack, mostly survival rations and medical equipment, he knew he had selected his victim well. Stringing together the pins of the fragmentary grenades so that they would go off shortly after the pack was set down, Kuroishi began his work. Placing space tape over his victim's mouth and binding his fingers and thumbs in space tape gloves, kuroishi carefully set the trooper up and put the pack full of explosives on the prey's back.  For added precaution Kuroishi placed a command detonated block of C-8 in the pack as well. "Goblin grenade ready to be launched sir."  Kuroishi said evily over a private comm channel to Argon. [I think I'll launch it tomorrow if no one else minds]

Patrick watched Daishi bring the rebel in... Heard him doing stuff with tape and cackling and all different odd things. Patrick pulled out his newly found pistol and walked into the cave and felt his jaw drop.       "What the Hell are you doing?" asked Patrick in amazement as he seen the rebel with all the space tape on him and grenades and such.  "Nuthin too much.. Just makin a homemade Suicide bomb" said Daishi. Patrick couldn't believe that this squad would actually turn insane, but just a little bit off of sane. Not INSANE! Patrick shook his head and went back outside to his place up with Myrrdin.     Myrrdin asked what was going on in the cave. Patrick just looked on. His once lively eyes now going Pale and harsh. " Just stay up here.. I don't think you should see whats inside the cave." "Allright, " said Myrrdin."I will stay up here." Myrrdin made a note to himself to go in and take a look when Patrick was away or sleeping.

[OOC: Kuroishi: Go ahead, and good luck  PaTrIcK:  You have no idea...  We were a lot worse as the FA, but regular army life is sorta mellowing us  ] Argon was in what they had rigged up to look like a command center. The words "look like" were quite accurate, as the thing only looked like one. For example, the only comm line into the room was the one Argon wore in his earpiece. But it had a map, and that was what he needed now. He was plotting out the position of the enemy forces and the positions he and Rizzit might want to occupy and attack from(or retreat to)once the Raiders arrived. Suddenly, PaTrIcK rushed in. "Vipes,"he said,"Kuroishi's making a suicide bomber out there." "I know,"said Argon, turning back to the map,"he told me." "And?"asked PaTrIcK. "I said sure,"replied Argon,"it's a lot milder than what he would have done in the FA." "Really?"said PaTrIcK,"what would he have done there?" "He would have tortured the guy pretty brutally for information,"said Argon, wistfully remembering the great times of the past,"and then introduced some nuerotoxins into the air system.  After that did it's work, he's probably preform the same torture on every one of them." Argon then returned from his wistful rememberance. "Then again,"he said,"we still had access to those type of nerve toxins back then.  I still can't believe they won't let us have them here." PaTrIcK decided to leave at that point, walking out more disturbed than when he had come. What sort of a squad was this anyway?

OOC: YES!  I got to post first from my squad!  btw, if I made any mistakes, i'll change `em. the3Djedi leaned over in his seat to look out the shuttle's window. "Looks so...peacful.." he began. "Heh," Strider replied, who was suiting up next to him, "just wait till we get down there!" Suddenly, Rizzit walked in. "Ok guys, this could most likely be our biggest challenge yet." Several heads nodded in reply. "We are going down there to support the Jester and drill squad, and it isn't gonna be easy.  This shuttle is loaded with weponry, explosetives, etc, so we shouldn't have any supply problems.  Yes, Shadow?" "Um, do we know exactly what were going up against down there?" "Actually, no." Rizzit answered, All I know is that they need help!"                       <<<< 1 hour later >>>> "Perparing for final aproach, sir." Rizzit 'new' droid beeped from the cockpit." "Good" Rizzit replied. The shuttle slowly folded its  wings, and settled down with the 'Whrrr...Whrrr' so familiar to stormtroopers. Stepping out, the RAIDERS squad looked around cautously. "Hey, where's the welcoming party?" Shadow joked, easing everyboys nerves. 'Ok, lets go find their command center." Rizzit ordered. "I think we should keep guards here, just in case." "I'll stay," Strider started. "I'll just find a good sniping spot!" "Me too," the3Djedi inserted. "Ok, I'll stay with Jed and Strider too," `TJ said, "in case we see any... force-related things." "Sounds good to me," Otto said, "Lets move!"

[OOC Jester is out of here, so you're actually supporting the insane Dread Knights.  "We love to watch stuff blow up."-Goblin Grenade, Warcraft 2 /OOC] Kuroishi comandered the fastest mode of transportation he could get a hold of. Making his way toa valley that lead all the way to the back door, Kuroishi carefully set his prisoner down so that he wouldn't set off the explosives prematurely. "Wakey wakey.  I'm going to let you go back to base but to make sure you don't do something foolish I left the tape on, it's for your own protection.  Now get marching before I decide to change my mind about my act of kindness."  Kuroishi said to the Goblin Grenade. The man nodded obviously having no idea what was now in his pack.  Kuroishi had been carefull to be sure he got the same amount of weight in explosives as the supplies they liberated from the prisoner in the pack. Making his way to hilltop where he could see into the base. Waiting until his victim was at the right spot Kuroishi pressed the button that set off the command detonated block of C-8.  It was followed a fraction of a second later by the fragmentary grenades. Several enemy troopers, mechanics, and the motor pool in general were now absolutely trashed. "Ah nothing like the smell of high explosives in the morning."  Kuroishi said as he returned to base.

OOC: Second post for the Raiders! >>>Back at the Raider's drop site<<< Rizzit made the rest of the Raiders follow him, while jumping behind anything they might find, fallen logs, boulders, ect.  The radio blared with some static and then a message. "Come in................anybody?" "This is Rizzit, Raiders on our way." "Oh....Uh....*static*..alright. Where are...you?" "We're in the trenches.", replied Rizzit. Shadow noticed that the voice was sort of..different. They passed into a narrow trench of sorts. Otto looked at his electronic map and checked the directions. They spotted the command center about 30 clicks away. Dee kept his eye over a ridge. There was some movement there, as if somebody was waiting for them, and it wasn't the Dread Knights either.....

In the Dread Knights cave/base, they had put the 36 hours it had taken the Raiders to arrive to good use. The base now sported a semi-decent barracks, a pretty good mess, and(yes) even an outhouse. In the barracks and the mess, Argon's voice came through the intercom system they had set up. "Attention Storm Platoon members,"he said,"Raider Squad has arrived and will be here in a maximum of two hours." Drill Squad members and Dread Knights looked at each other for a few seconds, and then joined a large flow toward the "comm room". Insided the comm room, Argon had mapped out the enemy positions and patrols based on information gathered from recon, and they had set up both the speaker for the intercom and a less than adequate sensor suite. As they watched, they could see the blip that was Kuroishi returning from his "errand", the blips that represented Raider Squad... ...and a massive amount of blips just next to them. "Raider Squad this is Argon Viper,"said Argon into the long range comm,"you have enemy soldiers in your vicinity.  Company strength, at least." "Repeat...{crackle}...thought we hear...{crackle}...comp...strength" "Yes,"said Argon as PaTrIcK hooked up their lighting generator to the transmitter,"I said company strength.  They're right behind you." A long pause came, and the cave's lights went out. "We can's s...{crackle}...holy sh...{crackle}...around us...{crackle}...{laser blasts}..." "Sh*t,"swore Argon,"Tycho, PaTrIcK, Myrrdin, come with me.  Stormie, please give Kuroishi the option of joining us at our destination when he gets back." With that, the Dread Knights began to gather their equipment and, within ten minutes, they were on their way at over 200 kph...

Tycho jammed a new powerpack into his light carbine and a new magazine into his slugthrower sniper rifle. He slipped into the heaviest armor available to him, and he double-checked all the fastenings...but gave his helmet a few once-overs to make sure everything was okay. He slapped a few extra power packs and magazines into the large pockets that were available to him, and filled the rest with white phosphorus, fragmentation, and incindiary grenades. He tightened his combat boots with the push of a button. Tycho shouldered his pack, which always held enough supplies for a five day excusion. His slicing gear was stashed away in its places. He could find anything in his pack blindfolded and half-asleep. The wind whipped past him in the transport craft. He lowered his goggles and switched them to macrobinocular mode, in the infrared spectrum. Whatever he was about to face, he was not going to be unprepared. A meter thick segment of a brilliant scarlet rope slammed past the transport, and Argon ordered a full stop. The soldiers on board charged out and took their positions. This was going to be fun.

OOC: are we in a forest type place?  the3Djedi whirled around as yells eruped from the direction of the rest of the squad. "What the..." "Jed, What was that?" TJ asked running up. "I have no idea, but it doesn't sound good, c'mon!" TJ, Strider, and the3Djedi raced toward the spot where the rest of the squad was.  Blaster shjots rang out, and they heard to "snap-hisses" as Otto and Rizzit ignited their lightsabers.  Blastersfiring, Strider and Jed jumped into the fray, while TJ stood back, surveying the fight before also diving in. "Tactical form 9-3-7!" Rizzit yelled, swinging his lightstaff up, deflecting enemy shots left and right. "Roger!" Otto yelled back. "NOW!" Strider and Shadow suddenly split up to the side, fell to the ground.  Falling back D-13, Jed, and Rizzit formed a small front line.  TJ and Otto, fell back.  Suddenly, Shadow and Strider opened fire.  The seemingly endless stream of Rebels suddenly seemed a little unsure of themselves.  The Raiders had used a formation that meant backup was on the way. "C'mon, lets give it to them!" the3Djedi yelled. "Yaaaaaaa!" Then, four figures jumped out of the trees, and let out a stream of blaster fire.  Missiles launched from the firearms of two.  After few more minutes of severe fighting, the Rebels were in full retreat. "Heh, the must have though that there were more backups!" Argon Viper asked. "Oh!" Rizzit exclamed, "It's you!" "Yep" "Well, this is my squad..." Rizzit continued on and introduced everyone in order...

Kuroishi suddenly got a lot of blips on his motion sensor coming his way.  With what little he had overheard on the comms he guessed it was the rebel company that tried to assault Raiders squad. "Oh frak.  This is not good."  Kuroishi said to himself as his speeder stalled. The first of them became visible just as Kuroishi draged hi speeder under cover.  He however was still quite visible at the moment. Gambling the lead trooper hadn't spotted him yet Daishi laid out a series of trip mines and dove for a good firing position and readied his double barrled blaster rifle. Then more came over the ridge, followed by more. Things were not looking good. The first of them stepped into Kuroishi's perimeter. Trading for his silenced flash suppressed Timbique Edition Zues rifle, Kuroishi dropped the man before he set off any trip mines.  Remaining motionless Kuroishi tried to watch for the reactions of the others. What was left of the company seemed to hold up until they were gathered up. 'They must be intent on flushing me out.'  Kuroishi thought to himself. Surveying who was what rank through his scope Kuroishi quickly compiled a target list. Not letting the company organize Kuroishi started removing targets from his list with a vengance. Poping a fresh drum clip into place Kuroishi decided it was time to create further disorder and terror. Placing several command detonated explosives at his position Kuroishi switched from his rifle to his blaster. Firing a quick burst into the massed enemy Kuroishi abandoned his position and fell back to a rock he designated as a fall back position. Kuroishi switched back to his rifle and watched teams of men try to forge across his mine field and intensly accurate sniper fire.  By the time his last trip mine went off several enemy teams had been decimated. Kuroishi threw a comm as far as he could in the direction of the enemy company. "Hello, I'm over here.  If you want to get out of this alive I suggest you all surrender to the Dread Knights squad."  Kuroishi transmitted over the comm. Kuroishi watched as another enemy scout team charge toward where he tossed the comm.  The team threw several grenades then stormed the position obviously suprised to find no one. "You didn't surrender.  That's naughty.  I'm going to have to punish you."  Kuroishi said as he aimed for the team leader and squezed the trigger. The highest ranking member of the unit left now was a Master Seargant(it's too late at night for me to spell that correctly).  Kuroishi waited until someone picked up the comm. "Now you will all either die or surrender.  It is up to you how you want to go home, mailed as a gift to your families wrapped in your own skin to make it look pretty or alive."  Kuroishi said mostly bluffing. Kuroishi had more drum clips back at base but he was down to six shots left on him.  He knew that there were still more then enough enemy troopers that if he revealed his position he would simply be overrun.  If he called for help his entire bluff would be called as well. Kuroishi sat and waited then watched with humility as the company just started marching toward base none the less. Saving his ammo for another day Kuroishi waited for the enemy company to get out of sight range then grabbed his speeder. He slowly pushed the thing all the way back to base. "You me, tool kit.  You recieve great suffering when I fix you."  Kuroishi said to his speeder as soon as he saw the entrance to base.

The Dread Knights and Raiders arrived back at the base intact soon before Kuroishi. When they arrived, Argon spelled out the plan he had come up with. "The first thing that we want to do is block off access to the base to any group that's currently outside of it,"he said,"we'll do this at 5PM local time, because they'll be sending a full battalion to this position."at their confused looks, he said,"I planted a video feed at their HQ back when we first got here.  Since we've already knocked out close to two full companies, the expected enemies still inside the base is about two and a half battalions.  Tycho will hack into their computer systems from a safe location in their base via a comm-link access that Kuroishi and I will set up in order to control all comm systems, doors, lights, and other appliances." "And what do we do?"asked the3Djedi. "I'm getting to it,"said Argon with a mischievious grin,"you guys and Drill Squad will take control of an armory and fortify it.  Then, you guys are going to hold off the enemy for a set time before we pull you guys out secretly and set the thing to blow if they go in it." "There's only one armory?"asked Otto,"How stupid are these guys?" "No, sorry,"replied Argon,"there are actually five armories, but I blew one of them up back when we first got here.  You will take this one, due to the fact that it is the most loaded, has the least bottom floor openings, and will be the eaiest to tunnel underneath.  That's right, while the Raiders hold off enemy attacks, Drill Squad will be digging a tunnel underneath them to a safe location, and they'll pull through that tunnel as soon as it's complete." "Hey,"said PaTrIcK,"what do Myrrdin and I do?" "Don't worry,"said Argon,"I haven't forgotten you.  You guys are going to join Kuroishi and me after we set up Tych's comm access.  While all the troops are distracted by the armory stunt, we're gonna take the main HQ.  Anyways, just so you know, Drill Squad's tunnel, if you follow the directions I give, will lead you directly to the basement of the HQ building." "Any questions?"
