I've been a bit busy in RL this week, so I haven't been able to work on my own post much. So far, I'm waking up in the hopsital on Abrea a couple of weeks after the event of S&M.

From there, I'll think of how to get on a ship, and then have it so that all the senior officers are killed.

Same, Ibram, lol.  I've been re-working Shazam's bio to see where I might go with him, right now, and that's working all sorts of ridiculous odds and ends, so-  we'll see

Yea, I've found that I've really had to take some liberties with my own bio to try and move things around a bit.  Shazam's starting to sound like some kind of super-pilot though, which I'm not sure I really like, so maybe I'll just equalize things a bit- give him a more realistic experience, lol.  You guys wanna get together tomorrow btw?

I just realized that V day is on a Sunday. So perfect. We'll need to get pretty much everything ironed out, and have the official launch on V Day.

Ends up my computer is in the last stages of death?  I can't say that I'm not totally to blame (I should have been more considerate of it's cooling fan...), but still- she's pretty old, and I think it's her time.  That being said, I blame it for about 90 percent of my complete absence in the last few weeks.  There's been about five times where I've tried to get on here and say "hey, pretty busy, internet sucks," and then- "Shwuh."  Computer freezes, guess what- you're screwed.  So- I'm at the library and just getting around.  That being said: when is a good time for you guys to get on and we can talk about this story in real-time chat?  Hope all of you are well?

I got the okay from Den... So i'll see if i'll be able to get the first post up later today. Gotta finish up a wing story post first. After that, we'll be officially in business. Yeehaw.

okay... you guys said maybe i should think of another way to go about this... sooo, here's a new idea.

Assuming we're gonna go with the VSD going to the asteroid belt. What if, "my" ship was already there. You guys said i said something about surveillance, but didn't really get what i meant. So I thought about it and changed it up. What if my team was there escorting a research vessel on a mineral deposit survey. Shit happens, we receive the distress call, scientists freak out, the captain goes wobby legged, VSD shows up, enemies show up, destroy the science vessel, captain gets removed, and the rest of you show up?

how's that? Den jumped to my system because it was an asteroid belt also because it was a location reported to have friendly forces, me, there.

There would still be a need for you all to go rescue him. 1, i'm just 1 Carrack cruiser, against... 3-4 other ships; 2, you guys wouldn't necessarily know Den had met up with me until you show up at point B; 3, we can still show we're able to work as a team together at B.

Assuming the bigger ships go after Den while some smaller ones stay behind at A, we can still show our ability to work together there, there's plenty of fight to go around, and let's just say i'm not in a hurry to jump in :P

Also, in regards to "getting our act together". that should flow naturally. It shouldn't take us, as a group, a while to organize before going after Den. It is a rescue mission after all, not an assault; time is of the essence.
