When the Past Catches Up to You

As Special Agents Bacredi, Liam, Bagardi, Hurse, Rallings, and Mac all moved forward towards the entry door carrying silenced weapons, their coms burst out. They had been given the all clear to break through that door and finish their objective. Past that door were two guards, three Congressman (of Grathi), and multiple civilians.

"This is team leader, go!" Bagardi commed through. Bagardi and Bacredi boasted silenced rifles, Liam and Hurse silenced submachine guns, and Rallings had a silenced sniper. All Rallings had out now was his silenced pistol, though. Bacardi moved up to the door and kicked it in. Hurse and Liam were on a knee and began to spray the room with silenced submachine gun fire.

The team followed Bagardi into the room. It was obvious that the two guards had been caught in the fire. All the others had their hands raised in the air. It seemed as though one of the Congressmen had been hit in the fire. Bacredi began to line the civilians up and padded them for IDs and weapons. Bacredi came out with 'Blaine Maye', 'Li Rieno-Shien', 'Hoshin Flintlock', 'Dante Um', and 'Nemo Bacredi'. Bacredi pushed Nemo Bacredi to the ground and she let out a small whimper. Bacredi then moved up to her ear.

"You're supposed to be dead." Bacredi muttered into her ear.

"Sorry to dissapoint... who are you?"

"Special Agent Zhar Bacredi."

Bacredi's cousin turned her head around. She looked astonished to see Bacredi with a rifle slung over his back.

"We're taking this one for interrogation." Bacredi told the group. Hurse took the pillowcase off of a pillow that was on the couch near them and threw it to Bacredi. Bacredi shoved it over Nemo's head. Bacredi then turned back to the group. "Bagardi, kill the rest?"

"Yes." Bagardi said. The group raised theiir weapons and let out controlled bursts, many of them tried to run for cover only to be cut down. "Lets move." Bacredi put his hand on Nemo's neck and began to escort her down the stairs. Hurse had already driven their escort speeder up and they entered.

Suddenly, as the speeder sped away, many police speeders came from behind and parked in the spot they had just been in. The speeder swept away.

Earlier that Day...
Congressman Tony "Mac" Ralling sat at his assigned seat. Next to him was Congressman Bagardi and Congressman Merkain, they were both a member of the opposing part as Ralling. The Congress of Grathi (a New Republic aligned world) was debating on military spending. Ralling's part wanted large amounts ofit, while Bagardi's and Merkain's didn't. Therefore Ralling, and the other one hundred members of his party (all who were extremely wealthy) had to hire some outside help. They had pledged their allegiance to the Vast Empire if they helped them take out the other opposing party.

Ralling's guards had been replaced with multiple units of the Vast Empire Intelligence. The same with all the other Congressmen's guards (that were in the same party as Ralling). They were going to lead a small coup in this meeting, it would start as the bill was being voted on. Vast Empire Intelligence agents would set off a sound emitter - gun shots would sound in the congress room. Ralling's new Head of Security, Zhar Bacredi, walked by the seat that he sat at and clicked his com once. As the Chief Congressman - Senior Congressman Liam Hurse - began to tally up the votes.

"State your name." Hurse asked the first Congressman.

"Les-" The Congressman was cut off by the sound of the fake gunshots. Zhar Bacredi drew his silenced pistol and grabbed Congressman Ralling. The other Congressman of Ralling's party soon exited with their security seconds later. The opposing party stayed under their chairs as their security began to secure the room. Bacredi ran into the Congress room, he still had his pistol out. He approached the head of security for Congressman Bagardi.

"Need any help?" Bacredi offered.

"We are locking down the building now. Can you tell your team to find where the hell those shots came from?" The Congressman's head of Security asked.

"Sure thing." Bacredi then holstered his pistol. Fifteen Vast Empire Intelligence teams entered the room, disguised as security guards. They boasted long range silenced rifles, silenced pistols, and flashbangs.

"Are those your teams?"

"Yes, they are securing the premises." Bacredi lied. Two of the Vast Empire Intelligence agents aimed, Bacredi ducked and took his pistol out. The Head of Security looked confused, but as two shots pelted into his chest, he let out an expression of surprise. He hit the ground near Bacredi and Bacredi raised his pistol towards the two other guards. The guards were killed by Bacredi and Bacredi stood up.

Forty guards had hit the ground, dead, in mere seconds. The well aimed guns of the Vast Empire Intelligence took more and more down. And their congressmen were the only ones left.
