RAIDERS squad entered the way Vox had left, they all entered the small blast chamber. The door, aka a five foot wide and five foot tall hole in the wall was their way in. Sniping 101 clicked twice on the com, even though he was right next to the squad he didn't want to be heard. The clicks meant spread out, or something along those lines. Bacardi immediately propped his DC-15A up against a wall and drew out his slugthrower. The long silencer stood out from the squad's other weapons, but Bacardi wanted to be stealth, a silent knife. Bacardi hopped in first, he ran silently towards the main plaza. The sublevel, a dark, stone floor had few guards, but it was sure as hell scary.

"This way," a sound came from Bacardi's front. It was the sound of a Stormtrooper com. Two white Stormtroopers came walking down the hallway that Bacardi was in. They went through a dark patch, the patch that Bacardi was stealthily hiding in. The rest of RAIDERS had went a different way. Bacardi raised his Q33 with a sound. "What was that?"

"This." Bacardi said, shooting the first trooper in the chest, killing him. The other turned around into a slug that hit him dead center.

Alan and Zeshaun walked around the starport keeping a sharp eye on everyone.

They got some stares but nothing very violent. "Everyone seems peaceful enough."

As they walked around they saw a crowd standing around in a circle chanting something.

Zeshaun and Alan walked over and th crowd immediately parted when they saw stormtroopers walking their way.

"We should go check that out." Alan said

Zeshaun followed Alan toward the crowd. The crowd parted to reveal that there had been a fight going on.

"Alright, break it up, move along people move along." Alan moved people in directions but made sure no one made a dash for the exit.

A small man slowly made his way over to an exit way. Alan pointed to him and Zeshaun and Alan ran to him.

"Sir, we have to ask you for ID there are some poeple we are looking for." Alan sticks out his hand.

The man sticks his hand into his pocket and reaches for a small packet. He pulls out his ID and show Alan. "Thank you, sir." Alan starts to let him pass but when the man puts the package back into his cloak Zeshaun and Alan both notice a small hold-out blaster in his cloak.

"Sir, we need to ask you why your carrying that blaster." Alan points into the cloak.

The man grimaces and pulls it out, not knowing that Alan's blaster skills are far superior.

Alan shoots the man in the arm and the man drops his gun. Zeshaun goes up and keeps the man on the ground by holding the vibroblade to his throat.

"We're are going to stay here for a little bit and play with us." Alan says in a very mocking tone.

Bacardi put another projectile in the last trooper's gut. The trooper moaned and then fell silent, he was dead. Bacardi turned around and saw a turbolift, one that the Stormtroopers had come from. Next to it was a door marked 'Stairs'. Bacardi hit the stairs, pulling himself up three stairs at a time. Next thing he knew it he was at the level marked 'Level One - Main Plaza'. Pressing his ear against the door, he could hear a bit of chatter going on, and that there was a man breathing on the door.

Shit... Thought Bacardi, he couldn't make it out this door. Running up the stairs again, this time silently not alerting any of his, well, allies. Raising his Slugthrower, Bacardi popped through the level two door marked 'Level Two - Plaza Lounge'. He silently crept over to a railing, hiding himself from view but at the same time peeking his eyes over the railing. Dante was sure as hell there, along with a mobile command base for the Vast Empire. Bacardi ripped his com off of his belt.

"This is Bacardi, position secured." Bacardi muttered into his com. Looking over the railing again.

"Copy that Bacardi, position secured here as well."

“How many of these idiots are there?” Jori exclaimed as more DOs ran in the door.

“Who knows? All we can do right now is keep shooting. Ah crap. I dropped my cigarette. Got to get another one.” Jager said.

“What? We’re in the middle of a fire fight and your worried about a cigarette? Jeez man.” Jori said.

Jori shook his head  and continued to shoot at the ever growing crowd of DOs streamed through the doors. He aimed at one and shot, hitting his target. Looking around, he found a good target and shot, killing the DO.

This is never going to end. We have to wait for Iron Horse to get here, but who knows when that will be.

“Uhh… Bright? Where is Iron Horse at?” Jori yelled.

“How would I know? I can’t comm them so I can’t find out.” Bright yelled back.

Jori sighed as he shot down another DO.

Well, at least there aren’t as many coming in. It looks like this wave is almost finished.

There were about twenty left, but slowly that number dwindled down. Finally, Verk shot the last one and at last, they could rest. Jori checked his weapon and changed the cartridge.

When the next wave comes, I’ll be ready.

"Alpha ready." Sniping 101 whispered.

"Bravo ready." Virus whispered into his com.

"Gamma ready." Bacardi whispered into his com as well, the other RAIDERS gave the readies as well. RAIDERS was ready.

"Move." Sniping 101 ordered the squad. He burst through the lower plaza door, stabbing a guard that was right there. Bacardi popped out and shot twice, one of the shots went through the plaza window, the other nailed one of Dante's guards in the back of the head. Bacardi turned again and hit the other railing, jumping off the 6 foot jump (which was relatively short for a jump). His knees cracked as he shot twice more, killing another.

"Bacardi, behind you." Virus screamed as he shot another with his DC-15A. Bacardi was put into a headlock suddely, a strong arm covered his neck. He couldn't breath. Everything fell silent as all the other Vast Empire (enemy) fell to the ground. All of the squad aimed it's rifles at Bacardi's assailant.

"Drop him." Sniping 101 ordered the man, "easy, or hard way?"

"I'll go with hard." The man said, pushing Bacardi forward and kicking him in the back. Pulling a pistol from his holster.

"Ok then." Sniping 101 said, firing once and the man fell dead within a second.

[oo]Due to post confusion, this starts before Cursed's post[/ooc]

Dante watched the scene through half closed eyes. The red-trimmed stormtrooper captain had his back to the stretcher, and most of the troopers were busy manning their stations. The three guards, however, weren't so trusting. Although Dante couldn't move his limbs and was still pretending to be unconscious, they never lowered their weapons or  looked elsewhere. That would make escaping considerable more tricky, especially as Dante really didn't want to injure any more of his vod.

They were just doing their duty, and it wasn't their fault that they had stumbled into a Black Ops mission. Again, guilt washed over Dante as he remembered the silhouette, how he had fired as the electromagnetic energy crackled around him, how the energy beam had split the man's armour apart and fried the human within. Even if he escaped, Dante knew he wouldn't forget what he had done. Still, he had his orders, and they were his highest priority, despite a nagging whisper in the back of his mind suggesting otherwise. Subtly flexing his fingers, Dante prepared to make his move.

He was about to throw the trolley off balance and try to wrestle an E-11 from the nearest guard's grasp when the trooper's helmet came apart in a burst of green light. The next couple of minutes were chaotic as the RAIDERS mowed down the regulars. The Captain, desperate, tried to use Cursed as a hostage, only to be targeted and join his squads on the ground.

Gloved hands ripped off straps and removed restraints, helping Dante to his feet. He looked at Sergeant Battlemont, and spoke.

"You killed them all..."

"Them or us, kid. We came back for you, so show a little respect."

With that the Platoon Sergeant handed Dante his prized deece and an E-11.

"We're getting out of this deathtrap once and for all."

Alan got on the com and signalled to one of the five squads to come and collect the garbage.  Soon two troopers arrived and escorted the wounded man out of the starport.  Alan shook his head and smiled, wondering whether all the Delta Ohms were going to be this easy.

Screams, a commotion and several people running off alerted both Zeshaun and Alan to a man wearing a large coat.

“What is going on?” queried Zeshaun, rifle raised, already on the alert.

“Let’s go check it out” replied Alan.

They approached the man slowly and their eyes soon told them that they had a serious problem on their hands.

“I want out of here!” screamed the man.

Alan and Zeshaun’s gaze were directed to the man’s coat which was open slightly, revealing several grenades.  Alan knew that if they were to go off then not only would the damage be significant but there would be a hefty death toll as well, including their own deaths.

“Let me out of here or I’ll blow us all up!” shouted the man as he flung his coat off revealing a belt with five grenades strapped to it, his hand quivering, holding a detonator.

How the hell did this man get past security pondered Alan as he looked for a possible solution.

Pressing a button on his belt, Alan keyed his com so he had a private channel to Zeshaun.

“Escort this man to a nearby shuttle.  I am going to get his detonator.  Once the detonator is out of his reach get him to the ground so he can’t touch those grenades manually”.

“Understood Sir” replied Zeshaun.

Transferring his com back to normal, Zeshaun spoke to the man and said “ok, take it easy, no-one wants to get hurt, just follow me and I’ll take you to a shuttle”.

“Your damn right you well” said the man, his hand shaking.

Zeshaun started escorting the man.  When the man’s attention wasn’t primarily focused on Alan, Alan grabbed his blaster in a split second and fired.  The man screamed as the detonator exploded in his hand.

Zeshaun pounced on the man as soon as he heard the scream.  The man tried clawing at his belt, desperately trying to reach one of the grenades.  Zeshaun slammed his fist into the man’s jaw causing him to lose consciousness.

“Another scumbag for pickup” commented Zeshaun.

“Indeed” replied Alan as he called in for another collection.

“Another scumbag for pickup” commented Zeshaun.

“Indeed” replied Alan and he thumbed his comm unit to tell the other squads to come get another man.

Zeshaun and Alan joked at how easy catching these Delta Ohms was when a large shadow passed over them. They didn't think much of it until the shadow passed and the object moved into view.

A medium sized cargo ship was flying way to low to the base. Zeshaun watched in astonishment as he watched the ship crash head long into a tower coming off of the terminals. Zeshaun heard Alan yelling.

"We need to get back to the other squad members. Call them and tell them what happened if they don't already know and get them over here. They can't be to far away." Alan was already running toward the ship.

"Paladin squad, a large vessel has crashed into the terminal, we need support. We don't know if there are hostiles or not but we aren't taking any chances." Zeshaun sent a message to all the members and started running off toward Alan.

Zeshaun was glad he now had a hand held blaster. He grabbed it from the Delta Ohm with the grenades. His other arm wasn't in such good shape to carry a rifle. His new blaster was pretty large for a personal firearm but that was good.

Alan stood behind a large piece of the terminal that had fallen off the during the crash. A large hole was in the side of the hull and you could see into the several layers of the ship.

Suddenly people started to pour out of the ship. Zeshaun wasn't sure but there had to have been at least 50 men pouring out.

They came out firing rifles into the crowd and throwing grenades. Alan immediately fired back taking out a couple unknowing Delta Ohms.

Zeshaun also fired into the large group, it was hard not to hit someone. "Alan we need backup!"

"I know I already called in for the any other squads that aren't to busy a the moment to come help us out." Alan yelled back. "For now just keep shooting."

Zeshaun could tell that the Delta Ohms had figured out where they were hiding and were positioning themselves to be in a  more tactical position.

Zeshaun slid behind his rock and waited for the chain of blaster bolts to hit, then popped up and snapped off a couple shots himself. There were just too many he didn't know how long Alan and himself could keep them at bay.

Zeshaun crouched to reload his blaster when he saw the rest of the squad running up from behind firing as they ran.

"Alan, Cavalries here." Zeshaun commed over.

RAIDERS Squad sprinted through the final hallway, pushing through restricted doorseals headless of the Basic warnings that they were alarmed. Sirens blared behind the squad as it burst through the emergency exit doorseal, with a group of stormtroopers and guards meters behind them.

Dante was propped by his shoulders between Vox and Cursed, his rifle in one hand. The first hostile stormtrooper ran through the doors, only to be pushed back by half a dozen blaster rounds to the chest. Virus took careful aim, pressed the activation button on a thermal, and threw the grenade into the building, bouncing it back into the hallway.

The baradium charge imploded, and the ornate facade collapsed on top of the doorseal, blocking off that exit and any more pursuers. As before, though, they'd find other ways to get out, and a more permanent solution was needed.

By this time, the RAIDERS were some distance away from the hospital, and Dante had been put down by his two fellow troopers. Never taking his eyes from the building, Sergeant Battlemont opened his belt pouch and removed a datapad. Keying an access code into the device, the squad leader opened an encrypted transmission to the hospital. He typed the activation code for each of the four anti-building charges the fire teams had placed, then clicked transmit. The datapad beeped once to signify its commencing the broadcast, then beeped again a moment later to signify a successful transmission.

At first, nothing seemed to have happened. Then, a cloud of dust rose from the hospital's south side, and the walls seemed to crumble. More clouds appeared, and a dull roar of collapsing metal and duracrete filled Dante's eardrums. The rest of the walls crumbled one by one as their respective charges detonated. The loudest explosion of all came after the collapse of the west wing, and the hospital's remains seemed to vanish as the building's foundation's came apart. Dante expected to feel elated, but instead felt nothing.

"Objective complete, RAIDERS. Let's get the hell out of here."

Alan glances over and was happy to see that Zeshaun had taken up a defensive position behind a large rock.  The kid had asked for backup and considering what they were facing, so had Alan, now all they could do was wait and try to take out as many of these guys as possible.

Despite his position being beaten repeatedly by multiple blaster bolts, Alan was having a great time.  It felt like he was back at the academy doing target practice.  Despite being an excellent marksman, Alan knew that no-one could miss.  There were just too many Delta Ohm targets to choose from.

"Alan, Cavalries here." said Zeshaun over the com system.

Although Alan was enjoying the thrill of having so many targets to choose from, he was happy to see the rest of the Paladin squad and several of the squads that had been guarding the starports entrances arriving.  An explosion went off nearby, throwing up chunks of dirt over Alan.

Son of a bitch cursed Alan as he identified the man responsible.  Alan targeted the man’s head, then thought of a better strategy.  Alan waited for the man to get another grenade.  Seeing the man getting a grenade in his left hand and about to lob it, Alan then fired.  The blaster bolt impacted the grenade and it exploded, killing several Delta Ohms in the process.  That’s what you get for covering me with dirt thought Alan as hr brushed the dirt off his armour.

“Sounded like you could do with some backup” said Lucky as she and the rest of the Paladin squad arrived and started to take up defensive positions.

“Glad you could make it to the party” replied Alan as he let loose a couple more shots.  Glancing from his position, he thought to himself looks like we are in for one hell of a fight

Zeshaun saw the rest of the squad set up around Alan and himself. A sudden explosion near Alan made Zeshaun jump. Alan was covered in dirt but seemed alright. Alan aimed and then a large explosion over near the Delta Ohms.

"Nice shot." Zeshaun said.

Alan nodded. Zeshaun popped up and took aim at some of the Delta Ohms that seemed to be more accurate than the rest.

Zeshaun shot one in the chest who was sent flying into another man who fell and could not or chose not to get back up. The Delta Ohms were more cautious now that many more troopers were here. They seemed to be slowly moving back into the ship.

The sound of a running engine could be heard but Zeshaun didn't know from where, he started looking around, the noice of smashing metal caught Zeshauns attention and a 6 wheeled vehicle came plowing out of the hull of the crashed cargo ship.

The vehicle was also equipped with some sort of turret in the back. Along with this the other Delta Ohms that had retreated into the ship came running out now with the support of the turret.

Zeshaun ducked back down as the turret took aim at his rock. He jumped behind another rock and watched as his rock exploded.

"Anyone have anything stronger or maybe a sniper rifle with them?" Lucky asked.

The squad continued on its path, to the stair case, Anival could feel the electricity in the air. After all they were about to secure a weapons cache. Which meant that the enemy would virtually have better ammunition then they would, and would be ready, having , Anival assumed, heard the blaster fire and explosions. They moved without much resistance to the stair well, and Gio said “Anival Sratchet, check up ahead and clear the stairs for the squad and the troopers.” At the order, Anival and Sratchet moved down the stairs as soon as they could see blaster fire rained down upon them, Anival quickly spotted a covering and grabbed Sratchet and pulled him into the temporary covering.

Anival and Sratchet mowed down the opposition like, a rancor shredding through a banthas. Anival told Sratchet “tell Gio to come down and bring the back up.” Anival moved up and got behind another clearing, he shot at the enemy.  A moment later, Anival felt his squad mates reach him and together they made it to the second stair case, the electricity in the air was getting thicker.

Anival and the rest of the squad, followed by the regular troopers, kept pushing forward with unrelenting determination.  Anival was sweating inside his armor. His nerves were getting to him as a blaster bolt singed a piece of his helm. They arrived at the stairwell, and went down, surprisingly it was quite. “Don’t let your guard down ladies” said Gio.  Finally thought Anival floor 3B and its too quite.

Dante walked as briskly as he could with his leg wound and associated limp. After this little fiasco was safely wrapped up, the first thing he'd do would be report to the medcentre. For now, medical care was limited to a bacta patch, a few good slaps, and a sincere prayer to the deity or deities of the casualty's choice. After his capture in the now-ruined hospital, Dante knew better than to try walking unaided. Instead, he was using a "liberated" DC-15 as a makeshift walking stick.

Even with the rifle and lighter than normal armour, Dante found himself more or less continuously at the back of the squad formation. He stumbled over the rifle's stock, almost falling on Private Bacardi.

"Watch it." the trooper muttered before turning away and continuing    to march. Dante almost replied, but snapped back the retort that was on the tip of his tongue.

The truth was that it had been his fault: he was distracted and his mind was still on the earlier destruction of the hospital. That would have to change, both for his own safety and for that of his squadmates. Moral agonizing made for interesting drama in holovids, but would be lethal on the battlefield. Still, part of Dante's mind was still focused on the hospital and all of the sentients who had died because of the charges he'd helped set. Attacking a hospital, let alone a civilian one, was a violation of the commonly accepted rules of engagement. Attacking an allied hospital, murdering civvies unlucky enough to seek treatment there, and killing dozens of fellow troopers...If there was a redeeming factor, Dante couldn't see it. And he'd not only aided but been a crucial part of this atrocity.

A distraction from this line of thought came in a fairly unpleasant form: a rain of blaster bolts. Virius squeezed a burst off and was rewarded with a scream.

"Contact!" a Private yelled as a vicious firefight began to rage between the trees. Dropping to his good knee, Dante clicked off the deece-fifteen's safety and opened up with the rifle.

What the hell is that thought Alan as he heard a distinctive running engine.  Suddenly the hull of the ship tore asunder as a six wheeled vehicle smashed out.  The vehicle had a swivel turret that immediately turned round and fired.  The rock that Zeshaun had been hiding behind shattered as thankfully he dove behind new cover.

"Anyone have anything stronger or maybe a sniper rifle with them?" Lucky asked.

Damn cursed Alan, desperately wishing he had a marksman rifle with him.  He got on the com and issued a general request to the supporting squads "if anyone has a marksman rifle, then please bring it over to me now, I am at co-ordinates" and he rattled off a set of co-ordinates.

Several minutes later and Alan was starting to think that no-one had a marksman rifle.  Suddenly a voice chimed over the comms informing Alan that he had such a rifle and was en-route to them.

Alan whirled round and watched as one of the troopers started racing towards him.  The turret let off a fresh volley and the ground beside the trooper exploded and he flew up in the air and came down with a bone shattering crunch.  Without even thinking, Alan raced towards the fallen man and the rifle.

"Sir, get into cover!" shouted Zeshaun.

"Damn" muttered Lucky as she let loose another volley of shots at the vehicle, the shots bouncing off its armour.

Alan slid to the ground beside the fallen trooper and grabbed at the rifle, he checked it and was relieved to see it had not been damaged.  From his position he zeroed in on the vehicle and then he noticed that behind the turret was an operator doing the actual firing.  The man spotted Alan and brought the turret down to bear on him.  Oh hell thought Alan.

Both Zeshaun and Lucky noticed that the turret had now acquired Alan in its sights.  "Get out of there!" screamed Lucky.

Alan was oblivious to everything around him as he focused on the operator of the turret.  He knew that whoever fired first would be the victor and the other would be dead.  No time to lose he thought as he let loose a shot.  He knew he hadn't acquired a perfect shot, no time, but he hoped it was good enough.  The shot hit the man in the chest before he pressed the trigger.  The man fell forward in front of the vehicle.  He screamed as the vehicle ploughed over him.

Alan was about to see if he could acquire a sight on the driver when the vehicle erupted in a ball of flames.  Looking round he spotted Hassar brandishing a hand held launcher.  Where the hell did he get that thought Alan.  He didn't mind, he was happy that this new threat had been dealt with.

The sight of their vehicle being destroyed stopped the Delta Ohms in their tracks and they started looking at each other nervously, some even starting to take steps back.

"We've got them on the run!" shouted Lucky, "advance!"

Only if completely necessary. The words kept flashing through Kanderin's head like an echo. He'd seen riots on tv before, they would throw rocks and threaten you with pieces of wood, never actually shoot at you. It made the idea of shooting back a heck of a lot more appealing. Although they had weapons, they weren't as accurate as Wraith, gunning them down would be pretty simple . Only if completely necessary.

"Everyone, blasters to stun and fire on their positions. Aim for the aggressors, leave anyone that does not pose a threat to us alone" Kanderin shouted over the confusion.

A few of the members of the squads looked at him with a worried glance, but one that simply disappeared a few seconds later and they did what was ordered. Barely two or three seconds after they had started to return fire, the rioters started to drop like flies. A man who had just charged their positions with a rifle was hit in the chest and immediately dropped limp. Another man aiming a particularly large piece of concrete in a makeshift trench was hit and also dropped. The other rioters suddenly panicked, seeing their comrades falling to the ground, apparently dead, scared the hell out of them. They'd messed with the army, and now the army were pissed and had started killing them. The game was over, and they started running for their lives.

"Helena, Ror, keep your eyes on them. If any more trouble shows up point it out to us" RK called through the comlink.

"Roger that RK" Helena's voice responded

"Oh and Hel, you're flying a Dactillion, you're not a flyboy. Quit it with the tone" Kanderin responded.

"Killjoy"

Helena was having trouble trying to keep her Dactillion flying in a straight line. Because they weren’t as trained as they could be, she had to keep throwing meat up into the direction she wanted it to go. This made the flight really bumpy and unpredictable. She was slowly running out of food.

“I think I’m going to call you… Norman” She smiled.

The smile soon got whipped off her face as she some flames and big crowds just a few miles north east to where Kand and the rest of the squad were. The crowds seemed to be moving towards them at quite a speed.

“Kand, Come in Kand” She said sternly, trying not to giggle.

“I thought I told you to quit it” A sigh could be heard before he continued.

“What’s up anyway?”

“There are a few crowds of people heading towards you at quite a pace. They seem to be coming from the north east side of you. Be careful though, they’ve already started a fire”

“Thank you Helena, stay in touch, I’ll assign positions. In the mean time, keep us updated guys”

Helena nodded to Ror; they both smirked before throwing meat in the air. Making their Dactillions circle the active sites, making sure she could see every single person involved. She decided to get lower, to see if she could see weapons involved to give Kand a full report on what he should suspect upon countering them.

“Kand, there are a few people carrying wooden objects, and a few carrying metal beams, please be careful guys.”

"No rifles this time?"

"Negative" Helena responded.

The fact they were willing to take on a squad that had just 'gunned down' a similar riot with such hand to hand weapons was stupidly brave. Maybe what they did had only managed to incense the rioters even more. The Army were now firing at 'innocent people', and that sure was giving them a negative light. Even though the shot people would soon get up completely fine, Kanderin wanted to try and avoid firing again. This time they would try and be the friendly force, they just want the violence to stop.

Nonetheless, they were still setting up barricades wherever possible. A lot of vehicles had already been thrown across the road, and they served in making pretty good cover.

"Weapon's should not be used unless you deem it a prequisite for your safety. Tear gas will be thrown only on my order" Kanderin shouted to people running back and forth across the street to cover.

"Oh Kand, if I have to quit the Navy talk, you have to stop the officer crap" Helena crackled in on the radio.

"You're enjoying this far too much aren't you?" Kanderin replied, sighing.

"Only way I can keep myself sane with Norman here driving me crazy"

"Who the hell is Norman?"

"Sithspit!"

Dante saw the spherical outline and the glowing red eye in its centre and knew what it was.

Aedile-class Probe droid. Manufactured by Sirius Cybernetics for Remnant and independent forces. Armed with a repeating blaster, and heavily armoured for its class.

Said armour was becoming a real pain in the ass, as blaster bolts bounced off the three probes' armour plating and flew wildly off in all directions. Dante was forced to duck to avoid a reflected shot. The RAIDERS were firing wildly, with almost half of their shots missing completely. Their discipline, which had been wavering since they'd been given the orders and the subsequent cluster frak, seemed to have completely collapsed.

Trying to remain calm, Dante emptied the last few rounds in the rifle's power cell into the lead droid, which smouldered under the barrage before emitting a shower of sparks. There was an ominous whine as its repulsorlifts failed, and the sentry crashed into the undergrowth, bursting into flame as it did so.

"One clanker out of business!"

Sergeant Battlemont was holding an E-11 at shoulder level and firing at the droids, seemingly unaware of the two cannons spraying return fire in his direction.

"Concentrate fire on the closest droid, RAIDERS!"
