== Character's Personality ==
Derek is a great guy and since his not biologically Mandalorian, he actually has a sensitive side. Even still you wouldn't want him on the opposite side of the battlefield, as he goes into a blind rage against his foes. Derek is very prideful of almost all warriors and is tolerant of those who do not.However, he becomes insane in his rage against those who appear to be powerful, but are truly cowards.
== Background History ==
Twenty years ago news was brought to a Hutt in Couasant, that someone had found the son of the Chief Security Officer of Naboo that had killed the wife of the this Hutt. The Hutt,Basiliss was his name, sent an assassin by the name of Causeus Fascar, to kill the Chief's son in a vendetta.
Causeus went after him with out question.When Fascar landed he immediately headed for the Chief's Mansion.Upon killing all the guards in the mansion and the Chief himself and his wife, Causeus made his move toward his targets sleeping quarters.As he entered he realized something that had never occurred to him, his target was a child of about five years old.Causes lowered the blaster he had drawn, Fascar had no wife nor heir to his estate.With out thinking he took the child in his arms and the body of a dead guard and ran to his ship. He delivered the guards body to Basiliss , took his reward and made his way back to Mandalore, with his new son.When he got home he would name him Derek.
After the tragic death of the last Mandalore, Dorineus Melkor was made Mandalore of his people. For hundereds of years the Mandalorians took up jobs as bounty hunters, mercenaries, assassins, and other jobs of the like. Dorineus called out to all Mandalorians around the Galaxy and united them to there former glory. After about ten years of rule, rebel troops confronted Dorineus, attempting at a truce between the two factions. Dorineus, and many others, found there fight to be a noble one and was considering joining them,but the rebels dishonored the Mandlorians Great Warriors Hall and tried to kill The Mighty Mandalore in there drunkenness.Dorineus and his warriors slaughtered the rebels.
Upon looking out the window of the room where their battle had took place, Causeus Fascar caught sight of an army making a move toward the Mandlore's Fortess.The Mandalore gathered all his soldiers, including Derek who was sixteen at the time, to meet the army outside.
As they marched on the battlefield they noticed that the army wasn't regular rebel troops.What was standing ahead of them were super battle droids, that were at least eighty years old.The Mandalorians would later find out that the rebels had salvaged the SBDs from old battlefields and had created an army, but had never gotten a chance to use them. It looked like the Mandalorians were going to be the first to fight them.
Melkor didn't even let out yell to charge, he just started running and was followed by his troops into the fray. Derek was the first behind him.The Mandalorians crashed on the SBDs.They blasted two-hundered clankers in under a minute. Even still the Mandalorians were vastly out numbered , fifty wen down in an instant, Causeus fell from a chest shot. Even The Great Mandalore took a fatal blow to the neck. The Mandaloran Banner fell from his left hand to the ground, all hope seemed lost. But Derek, was still breathing. He ran to the Mandlore's side, took up the banner, and led the Mandalorian warriors to victory.
After the battle, Derek was named Mandalore by his people. His first act as Mandalore was to have statues carved in the likeness of two of the Mandalorians greatest warriors, Dorieus Melkor and Causeus Fascar. Shortly after this dispute the Mandalorians would ally themselves with the Imperials and not too long after that Derek Fascar left Mandalore to fight with the Imperials, leaving the title of Mandalore with Dorieus Melkor's son Orineus Melkor.
