Ladies and Gentlemen of the Navy,

I have created this thread in order to post roster changes, awards, promotions, and other Navy related material from week to week. It will be locked to replies from anyone but myself and Japheth. But you should definitely look at it every week to see who's gotten what rewards/promotions, or any other general Navy business that you may feel you need to know.

So for this week, August 17th, 2008, rewards are as follows:

Leading Crewman Mellainius is promoted to Senior Crewman for consistent posting and activity.

Petty Officer 1st Class Kane has been awarded the Merit Cross 1st Class for continual contributions to Nazgul Squadron.

Petty Officer 1st Class Blue-Leader has been awarded the Star of Valor for his very good work on the Nazgul website.

Crewman Darkman has passed his AE and has been placed as Nazgul 1-3


And also, in the last couple weeks we have lost quite a few members, so we seriously need to step up recruiting. To encourage more of this, I will be awarding medals and IC's to those who bring in consistent members. We need people in the ranks in order to keep our Division, and overall this club, going. We all have fun here, let's get more people in on it.

Crewman Xam has passed his AE with distinction, promoted to Senior Crewman, and has been placed as Kaph 1-2.

Leading Crewman Sovern has been promoted to Senior Crewman for continued dedication to Kaph.

However, Sheogarth, Prospective, Thadon, X-Factor and Van have been placed on AWOL.


Also, look forward to a Holiday Squadron Competition to start next Tuesday!!!

I would like to extend a welcome back to Petty Officer 2nd Class Aleia Dreycon, Petty Officer 1st Class Mira O'Riley, Chief Petty Officer Anden Beliam, and Chief Petty Officer Sicario. Aleia has been placed in Nazgul, and the other three have gone back to Viper.

Also, new recruits Leading Crewman Arnold, and Senior Crewman FallenAngel have been placed in Kaph.

Senior Crewman Mellainius has been awarded with the Merit Cross 2nd Class for outstanding commitment to Nazgul in its last story. Also because of his continuous and outstanding writing in that story he has been promoted to Petty Officer 2nd Class. Congrats.

Also, Petty Officer 2nd Class Kane has been promoted to Petty Officer 1st Class for outstanding leadership in the absence of his SC. Congrats to him as well.

Before Slasher went on reserves for the short period of time, he took his SAE and I have been informed that he passed with 100% marks. This means that his is hereby promoted to Chief Petty Officer. Congratulations to him!

Also, expect some changes in the next week, and the selection for NTO will be announced at the end of the week as well!

Lady's and Gentlemen of the Navy,

Due to many different factors within the Navy, activity and members wise, the Navy High Council has decided to implement the plans of Lt. Commander Arturus to consolidate the squadrons from 12 pilot, 3 Flight squadrons, to 16 pilot, 4 Flight squadrons. This consolidation calls for one of the squadrons to close and its members to be placed into the other 2 squadrons. Should we receive the numbers necessary, opening a third squadron with 16 pilots will open up more leadership opportunities with the addition of 3 more flights than we have now. We have decided that Kaph will be the squadron to close. Should it be necessary to reopen a squadron, Kaph will be that squadron.

This is what the roster now looks like. I have italicized the members of Kaph that have been moved.

As some of you know from being on IRC last night, Catachan has been banned from the Vast Empire until further notice, the charges are sexual harassment and insubordination. I want it to be known that his actions are completely intolerable, and even if he had not also committed insubordination, he would have been banned. A large part of the reason that we are all in this club is that it's a place that we can go to feel safe and around friends, and when someone attacks a person's lifestyle the way that Catachan did, it will be dealt with harshly every time.




On a different matter, for future reference Ensign Bacredi has all of the authority to speak for the rest of the NHC when Japheth and I are not around - which I know is frequently - and anyone that disobeys him will be punished dearly. He is a member of the Naval High Council, and he deserves all of the same respect his colleagues.

Ensign Stormz is hereby ordered to report to his post as the new Naval Training Officer and is promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant upon assumption of the position. He will be granted the various relevant administrative privileges involved in that position. Please join me in congratulating him, and assist him with the Academy if you're called to duty.

Earlier today Willt and I took on the task of cleaning up the Roster a little bit. Mainly the section of the Payscale of Naval Positions. There were about a dozen positions that no longer had any purpose. Along with a few that even I had never seen in use, which means that they were pretty damn old.

So what I mainly deleted were the level 3 and 4 Trainer and Operator positions for the Academy, a couple advisor positions, chief of staff, special agent, special agent in charge, and a few others that I just looked at and went "no".

I also added a couple for the purpose of the CSS, which include Ship Exec Officer and Capital Ship Exec Officer. Those can be checked out on the Payscale section of the Roster.

Don't worry. We didn't change anything in the ranks


Also cleaned up the CSS section of the roster, allowing for the addition of ship names in the Task Force. We will also be getting the CSS story up soon. Waiting for the Wing story to end to get that up. So be prepared for epicness.
