Following the success of Storm's AWOL check, we've decided to launch one of our own. It will follow similiar guidelines to which Aeos had set out for her troopers, that is:
By augest ninth, all troopers should have made 3 posts of decent length/quality. We aren't asking for masterworks here, but I don't expect to see any one-paragraphs. If for some reason you cannot meet this requirement, contact me or doc.
A report, into your SL, due thursday. It takes ten minutes to write, honestly.
Post here and on your squad's topic.
If you are on leave, you must have posted leave on the leave board. If you fail AWOL, and wish to continue your career in the corps, you will return with a demotion. Again, if there is some reason you cannot fufill the terms of this AWOL check, PM Doc or myself in advance.

Edit: Just a heads up. PERSONAL STORIES DO NOT COUNT.
Edit: The deadline for all of this has been changed to august ninth. That's a little more time then I originally gave you.
Edit: Squad leaders, your squad reports are due Friday. Unless you are on declared leave, I want to see those reports from you, not your ASLs. They should be PMed to Doc and myself and posted on the commander's comnet (If you do not have access to the commander's comnet, note that in the PM). Failure to comply will result in consequences.
Edit: I have changed the amount of posts to three. You have over a week left still, not a big deal. Just a clarification - you are expected to report this Thursday AND next Thursday. Well, you are expected to report every week you aren't on leave, but the consequences of failing the AWOL check will be applied if either report is missed. Vast Imperial Stormtrooper Corps

So, for the 3 posts, they have to be squad story posts, like the current competition threads, right? And they can't be spec stories since they're just your character in them, right? Due to a lovely computer crash I had yesterday, I lost the platoon story post, two specs of mine, and a DJO post... among other files of course...
So if you can bear with me, the Platoon story should be up on Monday rather than the Sunday that I had anticipated. Thanks for hanging in there |
