ricky and tomas stood outside the catina, looking for snipes
and then they found a torn and dirty book near a strange ship
that they were itching to look in. "this is snipes journal!" ricky said,
amazed. "lets find the others and go inside that ship." tomas said. they found chesh, FSM and then found sam, they all goed inside to find out if snipes was in it, then ricky took control of the ship and they goed into hyperspace......

What you have to remember is that Bums aren't terribly motivated people (Otherwise they wouldn't be bums). Inciting a "Bum Rush" is difficult under the best of conditions, but give it time... because a Bum rush is like an avalanche, once it gets going you ain't gonna stop it.
