Good movie though.

Saw it a second time and was able to catch a bit more dialog that I missed from the first. There's still some left-over dialog that I couldn't catch. Need to see it for a third time.

Saw it last night. Thought it was very good, Ledger was an amazing joker as everyone has said.

Did anyone else think the movie was a bit convoluted though? There were so many plot turns it was difficult to really grasp what was happening before the next twist was thrown in your face.

Also, Christian Bale's batman voice really irritates me. It didn't bother me much in the first movie, perhaps because it wasn't half as bad as it it in the Dark Knight.

Am wondering who the villian will be for the next movie now that they've covered both the Joker and Two-Face?

Bah. Catwoman's already been mutilated once by Hollywood. My money's on the popsicle.

Penguin, Poison Ivy, Riddler or Freeze?

None of those villains are remotely scary. Scarecrow's stint seems through, and Ra's al Ghul has been dealt with. Unless Two-Face has survived the next movie is looking a little unimpressive.

See, when everyone heard that Ledger would be replacing Nicholson as the Joker, that's what they said. But then they were surprised.

I'm sure if they wanted to bring back the joker, they could find someone. The kid who play Harry Potter, maybe? :P

David Tennant commented that he would be interested in playing the riddler in the next batman movie.

If he doesn't, I will be severely dissapointed ><

You can't kill the Joker! They guy is basically immortal. Look at the comics!

The best super hero movie to date. Ledger and the guy who played Harvey Dent stole the show. Bale was alright, wasn't all that good in the bat suite. Ledger, honestly, had me laughing the whole time with his hilarious evilness. He was literally the reason I'd go back and watch it again and again. Cheers to him and his "magic trick."

No matter what happens... you wont top this batman, So no matter what happens... you'll still be disappointed.
if Tennant played the riddler (Well) then it would be good.. but i suppose It could be worse, they could use Jim Carrey.

I am actually glad Ledger is dead, Because this is the film he will be remember for... all his previous films were average/below average, its better to go out on a high note then fade back into obscurity.

The troubling thing is that most movies that hit the prequel often suck,

Bourne (Good story, the way it was filmed was crap.. and made me seasick)

The Original Batman movies (But hey, they all sucked)

Fingers crossed it doesn't happen to Batman. But think about it, No matter who they choose to be the next villain, unless they top themselves again... whats the point.

I saw Batman on Monday, 8 days early of the german release. Yay for sneakpreviews.

I liked the movie. Got to agree that Bale overdid this deep "I'm the goddamn Batman" voice.
What I really liked was how motherfornicating evil even Batman appeared. Yeah, he killed no one. But breaking the guys ankles/legs, me likey. Old school Batman.
Oh, and of course, Ledger was brilliant, a worthy Joker.
What I liked really about the ending was that it seamed like a foreshadowing towards Frank Millers "The Dark Knight Returns", where Batman is old and hunted by the police.

Oh, and for the record,
IMHO the first two Batman Movies, directed by Burton, were brilliant.
