My name is Ibram Tyrol, and I will be you're operator whilst you train here at the Academy. If you have any questions at all, simply go to the message centre and type in my full name into the recipient's box, along with your queries.

To get you started, I'm now going to direct you to our wiki page, where most of the training materials are kept.

To begin your training, you must first create your character. Having clicked on the link above, you can navigate to the page by clicking on Basic Training, Flight School, and then Chapter 1
(quick link:here)

Before going to Flight School, you may want to give Imperial Initiation (II) a quick read - it gives a brief introduction to life as a pilot in the star wars universe.

Once you have followed the instructions set out in Chapter 1, please post it here for marking, and we can advance you along to the next stage.

Whilst you train, I also recommend you get onto IRC (Or Instant Rely Communication). Most, if not all of the Vast Empire's active members frequent the IRC channels, so you will be able to find many a friend and mentor in this place. To get onto IRC, either follow the "JavaChat" link from the main page (It's in the left hand column) or download an IRC client (e.g. mIRC) and follow the instructions in the MainComnet forum.

Operator Tyrol

My character looks like the average male human, he  walks like royalty would, has crimson eyes, dark hair, white skin, casual hair style. His age is 56 years old. He has a mild posh accent. He has a scar that looks just like the empire symbol on the back of his neck.





He is serious at times yet has a sense of humour. He is really neat and tidy and not scruffy. He is very loyal. Never smiles except at jokes and never frowns. He is neutral at all times. His favourite foods are corn on the cob, falafel and other Mediterranean foods.

Used to be a bounty hunter but all the Jedi are gone and all of the other people are to easy. That's why he wanted to be part of the VE, for thrill and excitement. His wife named Elizabeth is in his home town  of Kamino. He has two cats named Milo and Sarah and one dog named Otis. He also wanted to be in the imperial navy because he has a scar that looks like the Vast empire symbol. Though he doesn't know where he got it from.

The vertical reverse is used when a maneuver is completed with a vertical climb. The aircraft goes up until its speed is lost then it is turned really sharply until it is in a steep dive and goes down really quickly.It is used to disengage the enemy or to get the enemy a little ahead which is bad for the enemy. It is mostly used to  reposition for further attacks. Hardly any modern aircraft can preform this maneuver such as the Harrier, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-5 Tiger II.




The barrel roll is used if you overtaking an enemy too quickly and if the enemy is firing at you you would use it too dodge the attacks. To do a barrel roll you must roll a bit to the side and apply pitch. You
must keep the nose pitched to spiral around the axis of your flight path. The air craft makes the shape of a barrel while it rolls in a central axis. The barrel roll wastes speed in a good way.

Today I have spent most of my time on the comnet and studying the wiki pages.


I plan to study for my aviators exam soon. But for now I'm just going to think of story's while I wait for you to reply.

I have sent my aviator exam to shazam

This is my first atmospheric training, my TO Desus One hopefully
will help me in emergencies. This is difficult flying in an atmosphere. I will try shooting down the flight dummies: killed 1,2,3 thats my record. I want to go abit lower and lower and lower... whoa! I can hardly see the capital ship and I can't see my TO. I think I'll stay here a while I still have 3 hours of free time and no one will no I'm gone! 2 hours and 30 mins later: I think I should go back now.

No no no I have hardly any air left and their moving out!!!!!!!!! There must be an extra air supply system!

Oh no its getting v-very hard-d to breath there fou- there its activated! Now to get to the fleet

20 mins later: made it.  Desus One: "hey Saadia any thing crop up during training?" Saadia: 'no nothing special."

I sent my aviators exam already.
On the wiki pages it told me to make two stories: one about space flying and one about atmospheric flying.
