DX10. ATI Radeon HD3850 512MB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 with Zalman Fansink. Comes with Neverwinter Nights 2.

Nice card. The good thing is that you got it too cheap. Maybe if I had a little budget, could I end up buying stuff les than half price? I should try this.

Nevermind. Not getting it. Website canceled all the orders that people made for the card because it was labeled with the wrong price or something.

Help me decide: 9600GT 512MB or 8800GS 384MB. I'm going to be playing on 1280 res probably, and I have 2GB RAM (Vista 64-bit - will probably upgrade to 4GB in the near future). I don't plan on upgrading my monitor (not a 22" :P) soon, so I'll probably be sticking with 1280 res for a while.

the 9600 is nice, but you don't technically need it. You could do perfectly fine. If you're willing to shell out the extra cash, the 9600 has a little exta power to it, but it's power you really dont necessarily need.

Do you plan to overclock either way?

Edit: Oh, and ew, 64-bit. Be careful that you have drivers for everything, and none of the programs you want to use are incompatible.

Ok, lied once again, but this is the last time I swear...

I cancelled my EVGA 8800GT and bought an MSI 8800GT 512 instead. For just $10, I got a card with a better cooling system (and more quiet).
